Los Angeles, California, 7 August 2017: Equity crowdfunding platform Mr. Crowd has recently launched a campaign on its portal for LA-based Chinese hot pot restaurant UniBoil (Chinese name:煮道). Boasting a stellar 4 star review on Yelp.com, the eatery has also emerged as the #1 in a poll for Los Angeles’ best Chinese hot pot restaurants. The restaurant has fast become a favorite for the Sino food enthusiasts around and has garnered profit in its very first full financial year.
"We were able to hit it off right away with the founders of UniBoil, Leo Lai and Alan Pun, perhaps because we are all from Hong Kong. Among all equity crowdfunding platforms, there is none other than Mr. Crowd who understands how Chinese restaurants operate, as well as the Chinese way of doing business which emphasizes on trust," said Paco Leung, Mr. Crowd co-founder.
Located at Monterey Park of Los Angeles, UniBoil stands out as a value-for-money, tasty and healthy dining option. Unlike other regular Sino hot pot eateries around, Lai & Pun’s restaurant assures food prepared in low salt and oil to ensure a healthy dining. Most importantly, it’s chicken broth does not use the harmful MSG- something we hardly find in other Chinese eateries here.
“We only use top-notch ingredients for our hot pots- such as Certified Angus Beef, superfine Lamb Shoulder, Snake River Farms etc. Fresh food is a major watchword here and we get new fresh tomatoes everyday for our much acclaimed tomato broth. More than 40 lbs fresh chicken is churned up daily for the base of out simmering broths”, stated Lai and Pun.
The mini hot pots allow the guests to select their pick of chicken rice or vermicelli which is made with UniBoil’s fresh chicken stock everyday. You can choose from 6 various soup bases added to 3 special presets. The top favorites from the restaurants are Japanese Miso Hot Soup, Szechuan Pepper Numbing Pork Hock Soup and Korean Army Stew.
“We take additional care while preparing the Szechuan pork hock soup. The Szechuan peppercorns are always picked out to ensure a more comfortable & cherishing dining experience. It’s something that you won’t find even with the fanciest of Chinese hot pots.”
UniBoil customers are all gaga over it-
"Good experience, the environment was kinda doll" - Anthony Gil
"Been there twice now and it has been fantastic. You get plenty of food. The pigs feet was good also. First time I have eaten pigs feet." - David Cammack
Interested investors would be rewarded with perks in addition to the equity if they invest in UniBoil through this crowdfunding campaign. Investors will receive UniBoil vouchers with coupon value at least equal to the amount of investment:
